Gelid Solutions PWM Y Cable, Connect two PWM fans to one socket

The PWM signal input from the mainboard is used to control a series of connected PWM fans for optimal performance in noise and cooling.

Features

  1. Allows for two PWM fans to be controlled from one PWM socket
  2. Can be daisy changed together, to control up to five fans
  3. Cable length 350mm
  4. PWM fans increase cooling depending on CPU temp

Connect two PWM fans to your mainboard’s CPU socket. Use multiple Y cables to connect a series of up to five PWM fans and provide as much extra cooling as desired.

Power drawn into your CPU cooler is adjusted depending on its temperature. An idle CPU does not generate as much heat, requires less active cooling and hence slower fan speeds will be sufficient. Furthermore, this also reduces the overall ambient noise of your PC and it is handled automatically with little risk to your PC components.

While PWM fan controllers are very common in today’s PC industry and available on most mainboards, there is often only one or two such PWM headers reserved for the CPU and or the chipset fans. One way this excellent noise reduction idea can be extended to the numerous case fans inside a typical PC is by utilising this Gelid PWM Y Cable.

The 350mm long cable provides enough length to reach any location in your case.

“Exceptionally Amazing Company.”

“I am very impressed with Quiet PC. I’ve recently moved from a Mac to a PC and I opted for Quiet PC because of their reputation and the fact that quietness was a priority for my system.

First off- the staff are extremely nice to deal with and they’re very genuinely helpful. The gentleman called Andy actually saved me money from my build by showing me that some of my items were not needed. I was impressed with this as obviously many companies are all about the buck and little else. The PC is indeed very quiet living up the name from my brief use of thus far. I was previously using an iMac with which I did a lot of work with big image files in Lightroom. Whilst the Mac was a bit quieter under no load compared to the PC, the latter however was MUCH quieter when under heavy load. The Ryzen 3700x PC also runs much smoother with little lag when doing the sort of work which brought my iMac to a standstill and kicked off the bouncing ball of eternal doom that some Mac users are familiar with. All in all this Quiet PC build is a big step up from my 2015 fully maxed out 5k i7 iMac.

What I was also very impressed with was how the dealt with an issue with a faulty graphics card. They were right on the ball with telephone support and getting it sorted. I think that’s extremely important factor in assessing how good a company is as obviously some companies are great at sales but lacking in after sales.

I can honestly say that Quiet PC are up there with the best companies that I’ve used in every single manner. It’s on this note that I highly recommend without reservation!h”
