Scythe CPU Cooler Stabiliser 775
Adds significantly improved stability for LGA775 CPU coolers by providing a solid backplate/screw mounting mechanism instead of push-pins. Also allows socket 478 coolers to be used with LGA775 processors.
The Scythe CPU Stabilizer 775 provides a secure mounting of heavy CPU coolers on to LGA775 motherboards that use push-pins. This product uses screws and a back-plate for a more secure mounting. It can also be used to mount a socket 478 CPU cooler on to a LGA775 motherboard using the included retention bars and back-plate.

scythe cpu backplate
i gave this 8/10
Pros the backplate is solid does what its meant to easy to assemble until you get to tightening it down
Cons *getting your fingers under the heatsink to tighten the thumb screws can be a complete pain if you have cooling on your mosfets and a large heatsink to contend with
This would have been a 10/10 if the Stabiliser tightened from the back of the motherboard
