Nesteq FanMax 8-Channel Fan Controller, Black
Nesteq’s FanMax fan controller is an ideal device to control and adjust the speed of your PC’s cooling fans. The FanMax uses “Cooling Zones” that allow up to four fans to be turned on/off at the touch of a button. This gives quick and simple control over the airflow / noise balance.
The voltage going to each connected fan, depending on your settings and requirements, can be precisely adjusted from 6 to 12 volts. Whether you want high or low fan speed or somewhere in between, the FanMax can control each fan independently for greater flexibility.
FanMax comes with all necessary cables to connect up to 8 fans with either 3-pin (standard) or 4-pin (PWM) connectors. All you need is an unused 5¼” (optical drive) bay and then you are ready to go.
Features
- Available with black or silver aluminium front bezel
- Controls up to eight fans simultaneously
- Easy setup with two separate “Cooling Zones”
- Blue LEDs indicate the on/off state of each “Cooling Zone”
- Each “Cooling Zone” can be turned on or off independently
- Precise 6 to 12 volt adjustment range for each connected fan
- Works with standard (3-pin) and PWM (4-pin) fans

If your PC has a lot of fans, Nesteq’s Fan Max could be ideal. It has eight knobs which you can use to manually control eight three-pin fans. We were pleased that there was a Molex passthrough, so the Fan Max doesn’t use up one of your power supply’s connectors.
The only other feature is a power button for each of the two banks of four fans, allowing you to turn one or both banks on or off quickly. This could be handy if you want to fire up four extra fans when running demanding tasks like gaming.

The eight channels are split into two banks of four, either of which can be shut off with a master switch at the front of the controller, making it easy to cut out noise when browsing the Web. The FanMax is a simple and functional device that’s almost entirely devoid of useless fluff.

If you’re building a PC with lots of fans to keep it cool, or maybe have a large radiator, a fan controller can make a massive difference to the noise your PC makes. The NesteQ FanMax has the means to suit a vast array of situations. It costs half the price of the ZM-MFC3, and can control oodles of fans.

The Fanmaximum
Having tried the NZXT Sentry 2 (which I would not recommend, by the way) I was blown away by the performance of the Nesteq FanMax! It offers truly precise fine-tuning, easy installation and - most relevant to anyone that is reading this - a wonderfully quiet PC working environment.
Buy it, install it and enjoy.
This is the good Stuff Nerds Go For
So this creation is amazing and it’s perfect for anyone who looks at the Corsair 800d Obsidian Series tower, because it has 7 fan slots, and if you get a solo water cooler for your cpu you can put 8 fans in the tower…. and its amazing when i have all 8 fans turned down, you pretty much can’t hear the damn thing >< its Freaking AWESOME
Seriously Amazing-perfect for a lot of 12vs to control
Seriously Amazing. I am building a new system using a mountain mods case that holds 25 fans. And using these fan controllers helps so much. Having 8 fans on a panel is seriously amazing. I live in the U.S and nowhere in the states can I find an 8 channel controller. They are all 6 channel. So this thing has proven itself a godsend. Not only is the quality nice on the front panel, it also features a nice length in the fan cords.
Drawback is the base or covering is all plastic and the knobs are kinda small like a CB Radio. But not a problem. Dim blue LED’s and a master switch to turn them off. Overall for me it’s exactly what I couldn’t find in the states.
