AcoustiPack Standard Acoustic Material Kit

AcoustiPack Standard Acoustic Material Kit [Discontinued]£21.27 (£25.00 inc VAT)

AcoustiPack™ Standard is an acoustic damping material kit which is not only acoustically effective, but cost-effective too! Several companies have tried to produce cost-effective sound-proofing kits, but in our view, the quality has always been disappointing. The result is usually nicely-presented, and maybe nicely-packaged, but the reality is that these kits are acoustically less effective due to either low quality lightweight material, or meagre material sizes.

AcoustiPack Standard

Features

  1. Unique composite material design for maximum attenuation
  2. Non-shedding materials - do not create dust or flakes when cut
  3. Adhesive allows removal and re-application for a "second chance"
  4. Non-flammable materials (including the adhesive)
  5. Low-profile cross section for space-restricted cases
  6. Extremely good value for money

For the customer who wants a top quality acoustic material solution on a budget, look no further than AcoustiPack™ Standard! This product offers outstanding noise reduction and amazing value. The secret to its success is a unique two-part composite material which offers both the low reflection and absorption properties of professional studio-grade acoustic foam, and the high attenuation of a very dense underlying layer. This is the most effective noise reduction method, and for it to be available on a so-called "budget" material pack we think is amazing!

AcoustiPack™ Standard contains three generous-sized 7mm thick (nominal 2mm Acoustic Barrier Mass and nominal 5mm Acoustic Foam) sheets of acoustic composite material, which can be easily cut to fit any size case. The product is perhaps especially well suited to smaller cases where thinner acoustic material is required and internal space is restricted. The upper foam layer can be compressed down to approx. 1mm if necessary, making the overall material compressible down to approx. 3mm in thickness. The pack comes with comprehensive installation instructions, and instructions with photographs are available online.

The unique Acoustic Composite material has been specifically designed to have a low-reflection upper surface, and high-absorption lower mass to absorb remaining sound energy. Sound energy is captured and absorbed, to a degree, within the acoustic foam upper layer. Remaining sound energy reaching the very dense mass layer at the base of the composite is then converted to thermal energy at a molecular level. This process occurs at a very small scale, and involves very low levels of kinetic energy, so does not result in a noticeable increase in temperature.
