TBS 6281 Dual Terrestrial HD Low-profile PCIe TV Tuner Card DVB-T2

I’m using this with Windows 8.1 and WMC and it works fine including the HD channels. I did have some problems initially but they weren’t the fault of the card. The main problem I had was that the driver would disappear from device manager when Windows came out of sleep mode thus necessitating a reboot to get it reinstated. I tried a number of suggested fixes but the breakthrough came when I read about the problem on the TBS website and the solution simply entailed an update of my Gigabyte motherboard BIOS which was about 4 versions out of date! Once I had updated it, the tuner card was fine. The other problem I had was the picture would occasionally lock up and pixelate on certain channels. I cured this problem by purchasing a short OFC cable to connect between my aerial amplifier and the tuner card. So, I’m pleased to say that its now all working fine.
