Introducing Scythe's latest high-end VGA Cooler, the Setsugen, which mean "Snow field" in English. The Setsugen VGA Cooler is equipped with a genuine Slip Stream 120mm Slim fan which comes with a fan controller that can be mounted in a free PCI Slot. The fan speed can be adjusted between 800 to 2000 RPM which creates an airflow of 19.4 to 45.5 CFM respectively, while only generating 19.5 to 33.7 dB(A). This gives the user total flexibility over how fast the fan spins, the noise it generates and finally the level of cooling.

In order to use the full potential of the supplied fan, the M.A.P.S. (Multiple Airflow Pass-Through Structure) fin structure from the famous Mugen 2 CPU Cooler has been adopted. The Setsugen is divided into four fin blocks with each of them connected to a 6mm thick copper heatpipe. To further simplify the mounting process a new mounting mechanism has been invented. Depending on VGA card, four screws need to be shifted to the proper mounting hole locations, and then secured using the supplied backplate and thumb screws.

Setsugen VGA Cooler is compatible to various VGA cards such as ATI Radeon HD 4850, HD 4870, HD 4890, HD 5850 and HD 5870 as well as Nvidia GeForce GTS 250, GTX 260, GTX 275, GTX 280 and GTX 285. Various aluminium heatsinks are supplied along with thermal compound to allow the best possible compatibility and cooling for virtually any VGA Card.
