Quiet PC will do their utmost to ensure that the advice given in these forums is correct. Bad Language

These forums are used by members of all ages. Please refrain from using swear words or unsuitable language. The forums software will star out the majority of swear words. However, if you identify unsuitable language that has not been starred out please contact the site Administrator or email forums@quietpc.com.

Airing Grievances

Attacks on other forum members will not be tolerated. If you have a grievance with any other member of the Forums please contact forums@quietpc.com. We will investigate any problems promptly for you.

No Illegal Material

These are family forums. Please refrain from posting pornography or similar material (including links as well as embedded pictures).

No Promotion/recruitment

On rare occasions, links to competitor (e.g. other shop) sites may be permitted. However, please note that active promotion of other sites through the forums is not permitted, nor is recruitment of members for your own website or forum be it PC related or otherwise.

Signatures

Keep signatures to a minimum size and do not abuse them. If your signature uses an excessive amount of space you will be asked to remove it. For graphics please keep file size below 20k. Size should not exceed 6 lines of text. Where possible use small font sizes for signatures.

Exemptions to Forum Rules

There rules are universal, there are no exemptions. Please note that the facility of posting is a privilege which will be removed without prior warning if the rules are not adhered to. These rules apply in all forums and in private messaging (PM). Do not use PMs to contravene any rules.

Private Messages (PM)

Private Messages should not be used as a tool to liaise with staff for sales and order queries - these must be communicated to Quiet PC staff via those email-addresses shown on this page.

What happens if I break a rule?

In the event that one of the above rules is broken, the offending post or threat will be deleted or edited.

Members are requested to refrain from reposting the same thread/post if it has been removed. Posting 'where has my thread/post gone' is also going to count against you. If you wish to find out the reasons for removal please email forums@quietpc.com.

In the event that a member repeatedly breaks the above rules or if the rule breakage is of a sufficiently serious nature, then a Moderator or Administrator will proceed to suspend or possibly ban the member's account. The reasons for such action will be communicated to the member by email.

I think I have been harshly/wrongly treated?

In the event that a member feels they have been harshly/wrongly treated by a moderator, please email forums@quietpc.com and provide details. We will investigate and respond to your complaint promptly.
