From Dave Burridge - very satisfied customer
As an existing customer who had a system purchase about 5 years ago, apart from a fanless PSU giving up, the system has worked flawlessly and silently as stated it would. It was only after downloading some free PC demos that I realised it was not fast enough and I needed a new one.
Now working as a private tutor I can’t afford the type of systems I used to need for running my business as a Contract IT trainer (MCT) – but even so, did the usual research on the Internet and found a list of items I would ideally like. Not too keen to risk my out-of-date skills and ability to build my own ideal system, decided to check with QuietPC and was very pleased to see I could virtually get the same items with a very good build price and only £10 for postage, so I did.
As usual the help and support from Andy was fantastic and Paul too; both have a high level of knowledge and having taught many techies in my time I can tell. Both put up with my ‘Columbo’ type phone calls. No rush, both only too pleased to help and to give additional information. I pretty much knew the answers but it was great having them both confirm my questions thus taking away much of the ‘leg work’.
My new system arrived in record time and that was to the Isle of Man. I only wish that so many other companies could sort out postage as QuietPC does and not charge a fortune to do so. Blistering fast system and so amazingly quiet, I only wish your machines were around for the many hours I spent in Server Rooms trying to shout over the hum of them.
What I really like is the honesty of both Andy and Paul, in the candour and honesty in admitting they don’t know something instead of spouting what so many Online Support Technicians come out with (‘BS’), which if acted on can do a lot of damage to your system. Absolute pure joy to ring up and not have to wait for ages and not get a different person that can speak English and is not reading from a script.
Overall I want to say that being in the IT Industry for 20 years and dealing with so many Online Companies and even at times teaching Customer Service (i.e. ITIL) without doubt QuietPC is head and shoulders above everyone else. I have given out two of your business cards to students who trust my opinion and were amazed at how fast they start up and how quiet. It is such a shame that other companies can’t operate as you can. In another 5 or 6 years you can be sure I will be knocking on your door again for another system. Thank you very much.
