Scythe Hard Disk Stabiliser II
| Hard Disk Stabiliser II [154 in stock] | €7,46 (€8,76 inc. IVA) |

Scythe's Hard Disk Stabilisers are designed to ensure that vibrational noises from your hard drives are not transmitted into the chassis. This significantly cuts down on the "rumbling" and "clicking" noises which are very commonly produced by hard disk drives. This product can even be used even with the fastest and hottest of hard drives, and will give good noise reduction benefits. A very simple but effective product!

If your case has no form of drive suspension and your too scared to use elastic then this is the next best thing.
I've mounted my WD Green 500gb drive with these in my Media Centre PC in a standard 5 1/4 inch drive bay and the hard disk is inaudible unless you put your ear right up to the case!
This is a great, inexpensive way, to make your PC even quieter. Secure, safe, cheap an quiet - brilliant!

I found this little thing really useful. My only gripe is that it comes in a card-backed packet. During shipping the two metal side pieces appear to have slid out of the top of the packet, and were then loose in my package, with one of them half sticking out of the bubblewrap bag. Luckily nothing was lost or broken, but it's something to bear in mind - Maybe a bit of tape over the top of the packet would help.
