Rasurbo's new ECO and Power series power supplies offers EuP/ErP and ATX 2.3 standards and complies with the statutory guidelines for increased energy and better efficiency (less than 1% power consumption in stand-by mode). As well as the aforementioned standards, the ECO PSUs offer excellent performance and stability while remaining extremely quiet.
Energy-related Products (ErP) / Energy-using Products (EuP)
The EuP Directive 2005/32/EC established a framework for setting eco-design requirements for energy-using products. It was recast in 2009 as the Eco-Design Directive (2009/125/EC). It aims to improve the environmental performance of products throughout their life-cycle, by integration of environmental aspects at a very early stage in product design. The Directive was transposed into UK law under Statutory Instrument (SI 2007 No:2037) and came into force on 11 August 2007.
