The Pico-PSU connects directly into the 20 or 24 pin ATX connector on the motherboard and feeding from the Pico-PSU are the SATA and Molex power connectors that provide power to the peripherals.
The Pico-PSU is a fully compliant DC-DC ATX PSU that has been designed specifically for Low to mid range CPUs. CPU that generate 65W or lower are considered suitable, but this does depend on how many peripherals are installed. The following is probably the most powerful PC this PSU is able to power without any issue:- Intel Core i3 2125 (with suitable motherboard), 16GB DDR3 RAM, 1x optical drive, 1x SSD, 1X 3.5" Hard Drive, 1x PCI(E) device e.g. TV tuner.
