This AC Power Adapter has a 4-pin Molex connector which can provide power to any device it is compatible with. One of the main reasons for purchase would be to make it possible to power standard PC fans to cool many different types of product.

The AC Power Adapter is also supplied with a Molex to 3-pin fan header cable. This will allow for two 3-pin fans to run at 12v. It is worth noting that the Zalman ZM-MC1 is not 100% compatible with the AC Power Adapter. Due to the configuration of the AC Power Adapter only the two 5V fans work on the ZM-MC1. This is why an adaptor is included with a cable to allow two fans to run at 12V.

PLEASE NOTE: If you plan to power PC fans via this device, we do not recommend PWM fans. These require 4-pin headers and are therefore not compatible. If you are looking for fans that can increase and decrease its fan speed depending on temperature, then look for fans that have a temperature probe, click here for available temperature controlled fans.
