Bought one of these to fit an old HP slimline S3050.uk which had become noisy. The fit is rather tight and this heatsink seemed the best choice. To fit this you have to take the mother board out because the screws fit from the back. To get it to fit I had to crop two fins off an adjacent chip set cooler and also to make a hole in a nearby connector block to clear one of the heatpipe ends - not recommended to the faint-hearted. However once fitted the results were very good with a considerable drop in noise. Selection of heatsinks for small case computers would be a lot easier if properly dimensioned drawings were available rather than just overall dimensions.
