Sporting six heat pipes and the award-winning psycho-acoustically optimised NF-P12 120mm fan, the NH-C12P achieves excellent performance with an outstanding level of quietness. The down-facing "C-Type" design gives optimal compatibility with motherboards and cases, but also provides additional cooling for motherboard VRMs (voltage regulator modules) through two airflow gaps. Outfitted with the professional SecuFirm™ mounting system and Noctua's much acclaimed NT-H1 thermal compound, the NH-C12P is undoubtedly a premium-class silent cooler.

Because it isn't very tall, it can be used in a large media PC case that can take a CPU cooler up to 114mm in height. And because of its six large heatpipes and oversize heatsink fin layout, it will also appeal to anyone who needs a cooler for their high-performance gaming rig. Regardless of what type of PC it is installed in, the 1,300 rpm fan on the NH-C12P will guarantee quiet and reliable running for many years to come. And its multi-socket compatibility means you can even re-use the cooler if you should decide to change your motherboard.

Six heat pipes

Six heat pipes with fully soldered joints and widely-spaced cooling fins guarantee optimal heat dissipation even at low fan speeds.

"C-Type" design with airflow gaps

Due to its down-facing design and two large airflow gaps, the NH-C12P provides additional cooling for motherboard VRMs.

NF-P12 120mm Premium Fan included

The award-winning NF-P12 has been specifically developed for high-impedance applications such as CPU coolers. Thanks to psychoacoustic design optimisations and Noctua's premium-grade SSO-bearing, the NF-P12 achieves exceptional quietness and long-term stability.

Excellent compatibility

The down-facing "C-Type" design produces a low-height cooler which means excellent motherboard and case compatibility. PLEASE NOTE: LGA1366/LGA1156 compatibility is only possible when used in conjunction with the NM-13, available separately.

SecuFirm™ multi-socket mounting system

Noctua's professional SecuFirm™ mounting system for LGA 775, AM2, AM2+ and AM3 provides superior reliability and contact pressure.

Noctua NT-H1 high-end thermal compound

Noctua's much-acclaimed NT-H1 is a pro-grade TIM (thermal interface material) solution that provides minimal thermal resistance, excellent ease-of-use and outstanding long-term stability.

GREAT COOLER, QUIET BUT DOESN'T FIT NEW LGA1366 MOBO

I used this cooler on my old Core2 Duo build and was happy to see it was compatible with my new Core i7, unfortunately though it doesn't fit on the ASRock P55 Extreme motherboard (the shape of the heat sink means that it is either hitting the memory, the GPU or the heat sinks around the phase inverter thingies).

Boo hiss ... will now have to hunt down something else, just hope it's as quiet!

GREAT PRODUCT

This is a really nice product. It is massive. The picture on the web is virtually full size! I recommend you go to www.notua.at to check compatibility, though it should work on most MBs. My ASUS P5B has no problems. It is quite tall so make sure your case has enough height; I had to remove a duct from my case. Anyway enough about size, performance-wise this is fab. Super quiet and the CPU is reading just 44 degrees as I write this. I think my NAS is noisier! Anyway top product will buy again and recommend to all!

GREAT QUALITY, FLEXIBLE AND EFFECTIVE

I thought I had a good heatsink before (also bought from this quietpc) but this one is so much better. It feels solid and well made and the fan is very quiet.

The processor runs at 39 degrees instead of 47 and I like this because its design allows plenty of room below for components and airflow in other parts of your case.

Also importantly, it doesn't take up an absurd amount of space.

I dropped 2 stars because it is very expensive and perhaps could be a bit better value for money. Having said that, I would buy it again.
