Thermolab Baram 2010 High Performance CPU Heatsink
“What's got five U-shaped heatpipes, a copper base, a 8900 cm2 surface area, 64 aluminium fins, 250 Watt cooling capacity? The Baram 2010 high performance CPU Cooler - that's what!”
Introducing Thermolab's flagship product, the Baram 2010. It features five U-shaped heatpipes strategically spaced in a layout which is different to some other tower coolers that have the heatpipes in a straight row. This helps to prevent back pressure and maximise the heat spread on the aluminium fins. This results in a very high performance heatsink.

Features
- Five U-shaped heatpipes
- Dual fan compatible
- Excellent cooling performance
- Requires one or two 120mm fans (not included)
- Compatible with Intel LGA1366/1155/1156/775 and AMD FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2
The aluminium fins used on the Baram 2010 are approximately 55mm wide and 25mm deep. Stacked 64 high, the cooler has a height of 160mm, so before you place your order, do make sure it will fit inside your PC chassis. All these fins give the Baram 2010 a surface area of 8900 cm2! This massive surface area and layout of the heatpipes means that the cooler has a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 250W, which is excellent when you consider the average TDP of a CPU is around 120W.
This cooler is supplied without fans, giving the user the flexibility to choose quietness or performance. If you are a user that wants to keep things quiet and are happy to sacrifice a few degrees to keep the noise down, then just order an appropriately quiet low speed 120 mm fan from our large range of fans. Alternatively, if performance is more important to you, then a 120mm fan with a higher RPM would suit. If that still isn't enough, don't forget that this cooler is compatible with two 120mm fans which is sure to keep your CPU temperature low.

A smooth copper base helps to transfer the heat quickly to the connected heatpipes

Pros:
Good cooling when used with dual fans, my Intel Core i5-2500K, overclocked to 4,1 GHz, didn't heat up above 55 degrees under loading, idle temperature 30 degrees.
Can be combined with your choice of fans, I established 2 Noiseblocker BlackSilentPRO PL-PS. Very effectively and silently, speed of rotation no more than 1000 rpm, usually 600-700 rpm.
Disturbs nothing and nothing blocks on the motherboard.
Ideally processed basis of a cooler.
Low price for this product.
Maximum TDP of 250 watts.
Cons:
No fans included adding to the cost.
