Like the block it replaces, it also has an eSATA port which connects to an eSATA port on your motherboard if one is available.

If you have a very new motherboard with a 20 pin USB3 ICC internal connector, this will allow you to connect it to the front USB on the case.
Alternatively I've see one PCIe card that provides the 20 pin socket, most USB3 cards don't. Instructions are clear, be aware that the 20 pin thick USB wire can be tricky to route.
