I bought this for my office at work, where it can get a bit airless thanks to the arrangement of the building, and it's brilliant. Moves just enough air to cool down face and arms without making loads of noise or feeling like you're sitting in the wind tunnel - just a gentle breeze.
The USB ports seem to work, and while there is a socket for external power, I've only used it as an unpowered hub.
