Terms and Conditions of Sale
Payment and Delivery
Full payment using cheque or card is required in advance for all purchases. We reserve the right to decline acceptance of an order if we deem there is a good reason for doing so. The total order charge made does not include any international customs and/or brokerage fees you may incur, or any applicable local sales taxes imposed by your own country of residence. GST will be added to orders automatically if applicable and this amount will be calculated and shown before you commit to the order.
Individual product prices do not include delivery and a delivery charge will be automatically added to each order placed. This charge will be shown on the order form before you confirm your order.
For orders comprising entirely of items which are in stock, we will endeavour to make a despatch within 2-3 days of receiving your order. Sometimes this time will be less, but at times of very high demand, despatch times may be slightly increased. Deliveries will normally take around 1-4 days to arrive after despatch, depending on destination.
We will endeavour to show the stock status of all products on the ordering page. If you order any product(s) which are not in stock, then your order will be placed on hold until all the products you have ordered are available, and then your order will be shipped complete. If you would prefer to receive items which are in stock first, without the whole order being held up, then please place separate orders for products which are in stock and products which are out of stock. Please note that for technical reasons, your credit card will be charged within 2-3 days of placing the order on the website, not when the product is despatched. If you are unhappy with this arrangement, please wait until items are shown as being in stock before placing an order.
Money Back Guarantee
In the unlikely event that any product bought from Quiet PC should disappoint, then it may be returned to the address below in perfect condition as supplied within one month of receipt for a refund less the original delivery charge. Responsibility for shipping costs when returning goods lies entirely with the customer. Please advise by email before returning goods. No RMA number is needed but it is essential that you include your name and address both on the outside and inside of the package. Refunds will be given at the discretion of the Company Management.
Complaints
All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 days and usually sooner. Please submit complaints by email or in writing where possible. We are committed to resolving any issues as quickly as possible and will keep you informed as to how your complaint is being handled and how long it is expected to take to resolve.
Warranty
Quiet PC warrants that the products it sells are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase. We will, at the customer's option, either repair or replace any product which proves defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials. Repair parts or replacement products will be provided on an exchange basis, and will be either new or refurbished to be functionally equivalent to new. This warranty does not cover any damage to products which results from accident, abuse, misuse, incorrect installation, incompatibility, natural or personal disaster, or any unauthorised disassembly, repair or modification.
Product Suitability
The customer is responsible for ensuring correct product selection and suitability for their own application and no responsibility or liability can be borne by Quiet PC for damage or loss incurred, including data loss, due to incorrect product selection or installation howsoever caused, either directly or consequentially. Installation of the products is at your own risk. For your own safety and to avoid damage to your computer we strongly recommend you read the installation instructions available on this website in detail, and if you have any doubt about your own ability to install the products then you should ask a qualified computer engineer to do the work for you.
Privacy Policy
Quiet PC is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully and in accordance with the relevant legislation. We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. We do not share your information with any other companies or individuals and we take appropriate steps to protect the information you give us. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. Quiet PC does not use persistent cookies, but a per-session cookie is created by our payment partner (Worldpay) when you place an order. This cookie is necessary in order to ensure that multiple payments are not made accidently and the cookie is deleted when you exit your web browser.
