But apart from being quieter than speakers, what’s so special about them? Well, unlike “simulated surround” where the full five or six channels are rather poorly simulated through conventional stereo speakers (or headphones), the Zalman Real Surround Sound Headphones produce a genuine surround field as if it is being reproduced from a complete multi-channel speaker system with separate front, rear, and centre channel speakers. The sound is clean, crisp, and all around you but right in your ears! As the perfect complement to a 5.1 surround audio card, these headphones contain no less than six speakers, which enhances discrete sound sources, directional, spatial, and realistic effects. This elegant looking sound card is ideal for customers who want to easily add 5.1 channel capabilities to their PC or laptop. If you use Windows XP, simply plug the sound card into any free USB port and all software and drivers will be installed automatically - you will be up and running in seconds! For customers using Windows 98, Me or 2000, drivers are provided on the CD which is included with the sound card and are very easily installed.
