I'm using this card in a home recording studio pc and its deadly quiet. Bit of what I can only describe as a heat smell for the first few hours of use but now nothing. It's a great card and improvement on my old radeon 4350.

Very pleased with this card, friend's original card had broken and so I plumped for this one. He's reported a significant improvement in performance since installation. Great purchase and the fact it's passive cooled was an essential requirement.
