Customer Reviews

Excellent no-nonsense fan - but not that quiet!

,

Bought two of these to replace both my failing CPU fan and also my case fan. It's a well-made and gimmick-free product (no LED's or coloured blades), which moves lots of air, as the Quiet PC chart indicates - but I wouldn't say that it is particularly quiet (I realised when ordering that it is at the higher end of the dB ratings!). As it's not PWM, of course it is running at full speed all the time. Not that I'm unhappy, as it does cool my PC most effectively; but just to advise potential purchasers who are looking for something that really is very quiet.

Very impressed with Quiet PC's informative website and customer service - I would certainly use them again.

If you want to make the fans run a little quieter please consider the RC56, which is a resistor that will reduce the fans RPM by around 40%. Please note, it will also reduce airflow and the cooling performance.
