I needed an ultra quiet PSU for a living room computer and this has fit the bill perfectly. It is so quiet my parents can barely hear it when standing right next to it. They say the only downside is I didn't buy it 18 months ago and save them hassle!!! If I ever need a low power PSU again, I will use this without hesitation.

I'll confess first off: I bought the wrong power supply!
This PSU is for "older" machines: it doesn't have the 8 pin EPS header needed for the latest chipsets/motherboards; it only has 2 SATA connectors. But I would have thought that most PCs these days have more than 2 SATA drives. And the 2 SATA connectors are so close together, you can't power a HDD and a CD/DVD drive with the one cable.
However, with a couple of cheap adapters from Maplin, I saved myself a product return (returning postage fees, cost of a more expensive upgrade, more shipping fees...) and now this is working well in my system.
The main thing: it's completely silent in my system with the case open, never mind once it's all sealed up under the desk.
Overall, this PSU is good enough for the job, but you'd be better served getting the model up; unless you're just replacing a broken PSU on an old machine.
