One Click Technologies was formed in 2001 as a result of research which identified the amount of power needlessly wasted by electrical items left on standby. The objective was to develop an intelligent system which could determine when associated peripheral equipment is no longer required.

This resulted in developing the patented Auto Calibration™ system which reads the amount of power used by a master device (desktop computer) both in the on and off states to automatically define the appropriate switch off point for peripheral equipment. This was achieved together with world class low standby power which is recognised and endorsed by the Energy Saving Trust.
