Nofan’s bundle comprises their revolutionary CR-100A IcePipe Fanless Cooler, a fanless 400W power supply and a specialised convection case to accommodate the CPU cooler and any other components that are required to build the perfect silent computer, with zero dust build up.
Nofan CR-100A IcePipe 100W Fanless CPU Cooler
The CR-100A is Nofan’s flagship CPU cooler and the first of its kind in the world. Despite its large size, it can easily be installed onto many types of motherboard without interference with other components. The primary consideration with the CR-100A (like all CPU coolers) is its ability to cool hot-running processors. The heat generated by a CPU is defined by its TDP (thermal design power) and is measured in watts. Newer processors tend to run cooler than previous generation models, although there will always be a trade-off between speed and heat. The CR-100A can continuously and silently cool any processor with a TDP specification of under 100 watts, which includes the majority of processors on the market today - even high performance ones.
Nofan CS-30 Computer Case
The CS-30 is a midi-sized computer case that is perfectly suited to house a fanless PC system. The main reason for this is that the case is perforated with many ventilation holes, as you can see from the image. These holes allow the hot air generated by the system to be easily and quickly removed from the case without the use of any fans!
The layout out of the case is unconventional in that the power supply is installed toward the front of the case. This provides extra room to allow a full-size ATX motherboard to be installed.
Nofan P-400A Fanless 400W Power Supply
Nofan’s PSU has all the attributes you would expect from a high quality fanless power supply. The casing of the unit is manufactured solely from aluminium. This acts as a heatsink and assists greatly in keeping the temperature of the PSU down. The power supply is up to 86% efficient (80Plus Bronze certified), which mean less waste heat is produced. These two features mean that Nofan are able to produce a 400W fanless PSU, making it the ideal product to power a fanless system.

The SET A40 is a really interesting bundle for your eyes, ears and tech geek glands. It’s unnerving - turn on a system built around this bundle and nothing happens. In a home recording situation, the advantage is obvious.
There’s also fantastic potential for a work machine or media centre. The IcePipe could be huge - for PC components and beyond. For those who can do without a discrete GPU, it’s a no-brainer. It keeps load temperatures well below the danger zone and offers 0dB operating levels, zero dust and serious power savings.
