Reviews

  • Computer Active

Overall, the Fractal Design Arc Midi, while not cheap, is an impressive case that worked well. (Product reviewed: Arc Midi)

  • Overclock3D.net

So if you are looking for a case that can easily accommodate a watercooling loop to cool even the most insane CPU overclocks but is compact, looks great and wont cost you big bucks the Fractal Arc is the chassis for you. If you are looking for a silent air cooled chassis with the 140mm fans the Fractal really delivers on this point as well, then your only dilemma is do you like the look of the Arc or the R3 more. We can’t decide so we hope you can! (Product reviewed: Arc Midi)

  • bit-tech

There’s no doubting that the Arc is a competent case… it’s is a great place to stash your hardware; you just won’t get the fancy styling, flashing lights or premium materials you may find on more expensive ATX cases. Overall: 86%. (Product reviewed: Arc Midi)

Arc Midi
Arc Mini

Very pleased

,

I am really pleased with this case. Loads of room and nice features. I like the way you can hide the cables away behind the motherboard. It comes with a PCI fan controller which I didn’t expect.

I also bought a Nexus P/S because the cables on my existing P/S were too short.

Good support from QuietPC to answer numpty type questions.

Fractal Arc Midi

,

Almost perfect, looks great and Tardis like inside. Very easy to install the usual kit and with cabling behind the motherboard tray it looks very tidy and professional. I have put a Corsair H100 water cooler in which did require a couple of seconds work with a drill on the top panel as some of the holes on the cooler did not quite match up to the mounting holes on the panel, but this was very minor work. The case fans are a bit louder than expected but you can turn them down as airflow in the case is superb. The metal grill on the top is susceptible to bending so you will have to be careful with it. Would buy it again if the need arose.

First of all must say thank you to www.quietpc.com staff (Ellen) for top Swift Service for next day delivery in 24 hours & love the quietpc.com case cadge, will put it on this case. Thank you!

The Case

What can I say ..Over the Moon with the case & also to see that the fan controller that comes with the case fits in the back of the case in its own space & I will use this on my XSPC-RX360 RAD - as the controller will work up to 3 fans with a single turn of the one controller knob & yes you can fit a full 60mm 360 Rad on top of the case or inside up top - but will take up the 5.25 bays with 360 triple rad if fitted inside.

Love the case feet that are rubber & look great & plenty of room for cables behind the motherboard tray & love the rubber holes that go to the inside of case they are nice and strong. Must have case & recommend it!

Only thing I would like to see is an optional side panel from Fractal Design with a large window so you can show off the watercooling / hardware.

Fantastic case

,

Fantastic case, It was very easy to setup the PC with the internal cables nicely hidden away, and so many fan slots available, I just need to get some resistor cables to slow the included fans down even more now :-0
