The ASUS V-72 is an updated version of the very popular V-70 CPU Cooler. So just like the V-70, the V-72 supports Intel Core 2 Extreme, Intel Core 2 Quad processors. In fact it supports all Intel LGA775 CPUs. It also has a PWM function which can automatically adjust fan speed according to the CPU temperature to deliver a quiet environment. Performance and silence are all under control.

The V-72 features four copper heat pipes and high fin density heatsink which can efficiently transfer heat to minimise temperatures allowing for high performance computing with stable operation.

The V-72 attaches to the motherboard using spring screws for secure and easy installation. At a mere 420g, the V70 relieves the motherboard from the stress and strains while providing greater compatibility to the chassis.
