I've put a WD3000BLFS velociraptor (without the noisy and not very good 'ice-pack' the WD can supply) into this and I'm most impressed. I can't hear the drive at all and both internal and external temperatures have not exceeded 45 deg C. (at present running 39 internal/38 external). SSDs are not where I want them to be just yet so this setup is just what I need.
