The Xilence Blade CPU Cooler features four heat pipes that transfer the heat generated by the CPU to a stack of aluminium fins. These fins are then cooled by a very quiet 92mm fan. This arrangement makes the Blade a good choice for virtually any socket it is compatible with.
Installation of the Blade is very straight-forward. The mounting mechanism uses screws to bolt the cooler to the motherboard. This may require motherboard removal it does make for a very secure fastening, so if you do move your PC there is no fear of the cooler coming lose from the motherboard.
