Xilence Red Wing 80mm Quiet Fan

Xilence Red Wing - Excellent value fixed speed fans!
Xilence (pronounced "ex-eye-lence") may be a brand that you do not recognise, but rest assured that we have fully evaluated their products and we are more than happy not only with the product quality but also, (and sometimes more importantly), the noise levels.
The Red Wing fans represent not only excellent value for money but they also look great in their black and red colour scheme. The bearings used in the Red Wing fans are hydro bearings, which produce very low vibrational noise. Each fan is supplied with mounting screws and can be powered by a 3-pin motherboard socket or a spare 4-pin Molex connector.

Purchased 2 of these fans to cool my HTPC. Positioning allowed me to go for a static cooler on the CPU. Absolutely silent in operation. Really have to get your ear close to hear them running.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Good, cheap and quiet and it's red!

Tried one out and found it to be the quietest fan I've used to date. Now planning to replace my other HTPC case pans with this product. My system has spun this down to 700rpm with little noise from changes in RPM as the system adjusts fan speed. Extremely quiet at 700rpm.

I cannot believe how quiet these fans are and such good value. I've just fitted 2 in place of 2 "big name" so called quiet fans that were anything but. The difference is amazing. Buy. And well done Quietpc - 20hrs from order to delivery.

Being a noob here I called in and received fantastic service from a very friendly northern chap.
This is fan nirvana!
I still haven't tried the fans (bought 2x80mm and 1x120mm, all Xilence brand) because i am at work but i have to say that if you want fans, you cant go wrong here for delightful service and lightening fast delivery!
Did i also mention that the prices are very competitive but without being a rubbish store like many of its competitors. Actually QPC supplies other top stores so it shows that they have the stock you need!
Respect QPC!

I bought 2 of these to install into the rear of a Dell Precision 490 workstation, also with a Zalman cable to reduce down to 5 volts, after I noticed high memory temps (up to 65C when idling), after I fitted a second processor.
In the end I found them so quiet I ran them at 12V and they added no additional noise (admittedly this Dell is not the quietest machine!). Knocked 10C off temps of memory and processors.
Superb value for money.

For some reason I was always put off these, probably due to the low flow rate, but just bought 5 (yes, five!) to upgrade a friends pc (and mine while I'm at it!).
Previous setup was just PSU fan as extractor, and CPU fan on mainboard.
Now I have replaced PSU fan with one of these, and added another to the case back. turned on the pc... nothing. hmm. doubled checked power, all ok. tried again... still nothing. must have wired them up wrong again (I'm good at that!), so have a look through the vent holes. to my surprise, they were both running full pelt!
So quiet I had to check twice to see if my pc was actually on!
My PSU is only a 300w unit, and even with a new graphics card added and a slower fan, it only puffs out a silent breath of air at about the same temp as a human breath.
All in all, £4 was never spent so well!

I'm very satisfied with this fan. It moves lots of air for a 80mm fan, and in addition it is very silent. I recommend it! And Quiet PC service is superb! I live in Macedonia, and the order arrived on the 5th day, just as stated! Thanks Quiet PC!
