Black Gold Technology Limited is a UK design and development company of leading edge audio/video products for the personal computer market. The business has an established worldwide reputation for providing innovating, next generation, high-end, timely solutions.

The company's initial focus was on the development of a series of firmware/software codec solutions and subsequently application products for licence. These activities were followed by the release of several retail products and bespoke hardware developments. Finished products and complete manufacturing packs for licence were also included within the company product range.

Black Gold provides a range of retail products, OEM products, bespoke systems, software/hardware licences and consultancy. The founder of the company and its design team have over 15 years of continuous experience in this market sector. The main offices of BlackGold are located at the prestigious Oxford Science Park in Oxford. There is a small research/design facility established at the company's registered office in Marlow, Buckinghamshire together with a network of designers across the UK.
