This fan is indeed silent at minimum speed, but, should your cooling system be a bit subpar, it will start to become slightly audible from as early as 750 RPM. The problem is amplified when you pair both of these fans (I used one over a CPU cooler, and
another as a case exhaust fan). This will not cut it for the true silence seekers, although it is discrete enough for most users.
Also do not mistake this PWM fan with the basic Nexus case fan which serves as SCPR's reference fan. I did.
