SMART PRODUCT BUT WITH FLAWS

This is a very smart fan controller which can display lots of valuable information. My main gripe with this controller is how it connects to the CPU cooler. Most CPU coolers come with 4 pin PWM fans these days that allows the BIOS to control the fan speed up and down according to load on the CPU. Unfortunately there is no cable provided to connect the CPU cooler to the fan controller and the motherboard allowing the BIOS to control the speed and output the RPM on the controller. You can bypass the BIOS control and connect the CPU cooler to the motherboard but this would seem to be a significant step backwards.

What Joshua is saying is correct, but the ZM-MFC3 is designed to give the user control over the speed of the fans and not the motherboard/BIOS.
