Due to popular demand, Thermalright has released the SLI/Crossfire version of HR-05, the HR-05-SLI. Now you don’t have to worry about not having enough space due to your video card being too close to the north bridge chipset.
With HR-05-SLI, you can enjoy the immense cooling power of this heatpipe Northbridge cooler. Like HR-05, the HR-05-SLI can cool your chipset either passively, by utilising the air around it or actively, by attaching a 70mm fan or even a 80mm fan of your choice, in accordance to your noise level preference. Either way, the HR-05-SLI performs like no other Northbridge cooler we have come across.
So if you have a SLI or Crossfire system but find the stock Northbridge cooler too noisy then fret no more because Thermalright has it covered. The HR-05-SLI can also be used on non-SLI/Crossfire systems.
Compatibility
Due to the size and unusual design of the cooler there maybe a few compatibility issues that need to be mentioned. First thing to consider is will the heatsink fit your motherboard?
