The ASUS V-52 is a Intel LGA775 only CPU that has been designed to replace the stock cooler supplied with most Intel CPUs. It features a copper insert that is in direct contact with the CPU to quickly transfer the heat away from the CPU and into the black extruded aluminium heatsink.
The cooler also features a 92mm PWM fan which is controlled by the motherboard. The fan will increase or decrease in RPM dependant on the temperature of the CPU. At its quietest setting the fan only produces a mere 24 dBA and at less than £12 the V-52 represents great value for money.
