This aluminium CPU heatpipe cooler is designed only for the Classic and Mini chassis. Attached to the top of the heatsink are the blocks that lock the heatpipes in place. These heatpipes can transfer up to 120W of heat away from the CPU onto the side of the case where it is naturally cooled.

The cooler is compatible with virtually all socket types. Intel's socket LGA1156, LGA775, 478, and AMD's socket AM3, AM2, 939, 754 and 940 are all supported. The location of the CPU socket is not a major concern because the heatpipes can be bent to adjust to the location of the CPU socket, which provide maximum compatibility.
