Ultra-Quiet 60mm Fans
In our experience, 60mm fans are generally found on low-cost or older processor coolers and produce reasonable airflow but are not usually very quiet. This size of fan is also commonly installed in home-cinema PC and small form-factor cases as a chassis fan because of the space restrictions therein. Whatever its purpose, if your PC has a 60mm fan which needs replacing or if you have space for a 60mm fan in your case, then this is the perfect fan for you.
Right at the top of the range of fan designs, this DustPROOF 60mm Acoustifan is the last word in quality and quietness. It has the longest expected lifespan we have ever seen, and is extremely resilient to high temperatures, making it ideal even for use with hot-running CPU heatsinks.
We must stress that if your processor fan is starting to wear out and you are thinking of replacing it, you would be best advised to replace the whole cooler (i.e. fan plus attached heatsink), not just the fan. We have plenty of coolers for this purpose. The reasoning behind this is that a low-efficiency heatsink coupled with a fan which could have a lower airflow figure than the one it replaces may produce an increase in CPU temperature. However, for customers who do not wish to remove or replace the whole cooler, this 60mm fan will be an excellent direct replacement for any existing 60mm fan.
To convert airflow in cubic feet per minute (CFM) to cubic metres per hour (m³/h), multiply the CFM figure by 1.7.
